Share a Custom Report


To share a custom report with other people in your project. 


You can share a report so that users with 'Admin' permissions and others can view the report. If you want users with 'Standard' or 'Read-only' permissions to be able to view the report, you'll need to add them in the drop-down menu. When the report has not been shared, only you, the creator of the report, can view and edit the report.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions: 'Admin' on the project level Reports tool. 
  • When you share a report, the report will still be filtered by user permissions. So if a user does not have access to a certain tool, they will not see that tool on the shared report. 


  1. Navigate to the project's Reports tool.
  2. Find the report you want to share and click the ellipsis 3ellipsis.png icon and select Share.
  3. Select user(s) or distribution group(s) you want to share the report with. By default, the report will be shared with any other 'Admin' user on the project. 

  4. Click Share.
    The system publishes the report and shares it with the users who have 'Admin' on the Reports tool and any selected users. Users with whom the report has been shared will receive an automated email notification with the subject line, "<Company Name> has published a report to you.


  1. Navigate to the project's Reports tool. 
  2. Click the report you want to share.
  3. In the right pane, click Share Report.
  4. Complete steps #3-4 above.
