Manage permissions for files and folders in the project's Documents tool.
Managing permissions in the Documents tool gives you the ability to choose who has access to certain files and folders.
Things to Consider
Required User Permission: 'Admin' on the project's Documents tool.
Users must have 'Read-only' permissions or above on the project's Documents tool to be granted access to folders or files.
In order to give permissions to a specific distribution group, you must first create distribution groups. To learn how, see Add a New Distribution Group.
Navigate to the project's Documents tool.
Select the file or folder for which you want to set access permissions.
Click the Manage Permissions button.
If the folder or file is set to public, select the "Make Private" checkbox.
You can then select users from your directory, a permissions group and/or a distribution group to have permission to view the folder or file from the drop-down. To learn how to create a distribution group, see Add a Distribution Group to the Project Directory. Note: If the permissions or distribution group contains a large number of users, you'll have to click the Add All button to allow them access.
Click Set Permissions to save the permissions for that folder or file.
