Search and Filter the Project Directory


To search the Project Directory for matching data. 


You can conduct a search for matching users, companies, distributions groups with the Project Directory's search function. 

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permission:
    • 'Read-only' level permission or higher on the project's Directory tool. 
  • Additional Information:
    • You can also sort by company name, last name, permission template (for users with 'Admin' level permission only) and distribution group (on the Distribution Groups tab only).
    • 'Admin' level permission on the project's Directory tool will see "Permission Template (Assigned)", Inactive Users View, and Inactive Companies View.

  • If your company has enabled the ERP Integrations tool:
    • You will have the added ability to filter the Companies view by the cost codes for your integrated ERP system.




  1. Navigate to the project's Directory tool. 
    The Project Directory appears. 
  2. In the Search box, enter the keyword or phrase. For each view, the scope of the search includes the following fields:
    • Users. First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State, Email, and Notes.
      Note: If you want to group your results by Company Name, select Company from the drop-down list.
    • Companies. Name, Address, City, State, and Email.
      • If you want to filter your results, select Cost Codes or Trades from the Add Filter drop-down list. Then place a mark in one or more checkbox(es) to filter by selected items.
      • If your company has enabled the Company level ERP Integrations tool, you can also choose the cost codes that correspond to your specific integrated ERP system. 
    • Distribution Groups. Name.
    • Inactive Users. First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State, Email, and Notes. 
    • Inactive Companies. Name and Email. 
  3. Press ENTER or click the Search icon.
    The system displays any results that match your search criteria.
