Edit a Person in the Project Directory


To edit a person to the project's Directory tool. 

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permission:
    • 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Directory tool.
    • COMING SOON! Scheduled for release on Wednesday, June 28, 2017:
      • A user account that associated with a permission template on a project that provides its users with 'Standard' level permission to the project's Directory tool.
      • The granular permission named 'Create and Edit Users (Assignable Permission Templates Only)' must be enabled on the permission template. See Grant Granular Permissions in a Permission Template.
  • Additional Information:
    • Any edits you make will be reflected in the Change History sub tab.
    • If you want to remove a person from the Project Directory, see  Remove a User from a Project
  • Limitations:


  1. Navigate to the project's Directory tool.
    This reveals the Project Directory page. 
  2. In the Project Directory page, locate the person or company that you want to edit. The click Edit

    Edit a Person

    This opens the profile in edit mode. 
  3. Modify the user's profile information as needed. To learn about the fields, see Add a Person to to the Project Level Directory.
    Note: If you want to remove a person from the Project Directory, see Remove a User from a Project
  4. Click Save or Save & Send Notification.
