To create a custom default bid email for your company.
Things to Consider
Required User Permissions: 'Admin' level permissions on the company's Admin tool.
Navigate to the company's Admin tool.
Click on the Bidding Configuration sub tab on the right.
By default, the following text will be displayed:
Bid Invitation Email: [Your Company Name] would like to invite you to participate in the bidding process for this construction project by utilizing our Construction Project Management Software, “Procore.” Procore helps to streamline the bidding process by allowing bid invitee’s to download relevant bidding documents and submit their bids electronically. In this system, all electronic correspondence is tracked and archived, and bidders are provided with the most up to date information available for the project. We feel that this tool will simplify the bidding process for your project team by cutting down on the amount of filing and paperwork that typically accompanies bid management.
Bid Instructions: If you need assistance accessing the bidding documents, please email Procore's customer support department at firstname.lastname@example.org, and one of their support representatives will provide you with assistance. [Your Company Name] looks forward to the opportunity to work with your project team in our new bidding process.
Bid Submission Confirmation Text: [None]
You may edit this text as you wish. You may have the text in these fields be as short or as long as you need.
Edit your text as needed using the font editor heading.
Click Save Default Bid Package Settings to apply the new text to all future bid emails sent. (Note: See the screenshot at the bottom of Create a Bid Package for an example of how the text in the bid invitation email will appear in your bid invitation email.)
