Things to Consider

  • Required User Permission:
    • 'Admin' level permission on the company's Directory tool.
  • Prerequisites:
    • Important! Before adding a vendor from Viewpoint Vista to Procore, always check to make sure that a matching vendor record does NOT already exist in Procore. If you do not perform this check, you might end up with duplicate or unlinked vendor/company entries. See Link a Vista Viewpoint Vendor to a Procore Company.
  • Additional Information:
    • New vendor records in Viewpoint Vista must be marked 'Active' to before they appear on the 'Ready to Import' page. Vendors marked 'Inactive' will not be imported.
    • New company records imported into Procore will automatically inherit the corresponding Viewpoint Vista Vendor ID.

  1. Navigate to the company's ERP Integrations tool.
This reveals the Viewpoint Vista Integration page.
  2. Click the Vendors tab.
  3. Under Filters click Ready to Import.
This reveals the Vendors Only in Viewpoint Vista page.
  4. Choose from these options:
    • If you want to add the vendor from Viewpoint Vista into Procore's' Company Directory as a new company/vendor record, click Add to Procore. Then continue with the next step.
    • If you want to link the vendor record in Viewpoint Vista to a company that already exists in Procore, see Link a Vista Viewpoint Vendor to a Procore Company
  5. Repeat the above step for each vendor in the list.
When the system imports the Viewpoint Vista vendor into Procore, its company and any insurance information from Viewpoint Vista is imported.
