Integration by Ryvit: Add a Viewpoint® Vista™ Vendor to Procore's Company Directory

Objective

To add a vendor created in Viewpoint® Vista™ as a new company record in Procore's Company Directory.

Background

If you cannot link a Viewpoint® Vista™ vendor to an existing company in your Procore directory, but you plan to use that Viewpoint® Vista™ vendor in future construction jobs managed in Procore, you can create a new company entry for that vendor in your Procore account's Company level directory.

To learn more about the recommended way of consolidating your Viewpoint® Vista™ vendors with your Procore Company level directory, see Consolidate and Link Vendors/Companies.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permission:
    • 'Admin' level permission on the company's Directory tool.
  • Prerequisites:
    • New company entries automatically inherit the appropriate Vista Viewpoint Vendor ID.
    • If a vendor is marked as 'Inactive' in Integration by Ryvit, you can view it by clicking the 'Archived' link in the Filter Vendors By menu in the sidebar of the Vendors subtab after the data is synced.
      • If your ERP Integrations is configured for the Integration by Ryvit, the following insurance fields in a Procore company record are now locked when Procore's data synced with Viewpoint® Vista™. You must make these updates in the integrated ERP system: Insurance Type (e.g., General, Automotive, Umbrella, and Worker's), Effective DateExpiration DateLimitName, and Policy Number
Note:  During the Implementation Process, your Procore point of contact will work with your company's Procore Administrator to determine whether or not your system will be configured to sync vendor insurance information from Viewpoint® Vista™ into Procore.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the company's ERP Integrations tool.
  2. Click Vendors
  3. Under Filters menu, click Ready to Import.
  4. Choose from these options:
  5. Repeat the above step for each vendor in the list.
When the system imports the vendor record into Procore, its company and any insurance information from Integration by Ryvit is included.
