Who can view a 'Draft' RFI?

Answer

An RFI in the 'Draft' state can only be viewed by a limited number of people.

If You Mark an RFI as a 'Draft'

If the 'Draft' RFI was created by a user with 'Standard' level permission, it is only visible to users with:

If the 'Draft' RFI was created by a user with 'Admin' level permission, it is only visible to users with:

  • 'Admin' level permission on the RFIs tool. 
  • The person designated as the RFI Manager.

Notes:

If You Mark an RFI as 'Private'

If you want to make an 'Open' or 'Draft' RFI private, place a checkmark in the Private box on the Create or Edit RFI form. When an RFI is in the 'Private' state, it can only be viewed by the following users:

  • Users with 'Admin' level permission on the RFIs tool. 
  • The creator of the RFI.
  • The person designated as the RFI Manager.
